    My hobby is playing games. However, I’m not addicted to the game at all. I only play games when I’ve done my work. The game that I often play is League of Legends. Playing games helps me forget about the pressures in school. In order to play a healthy game, I only play 1 hour a day. My parents also know my gaming goals so I agree. On my 15th birthday, Dad bought me a computer set for my study and entertainment games. I like to play games but I also know the balance between playing time and studying. If you can do that, the game is not bad.

    Most of us have individual preferences. Collecting certain objects such as: coin, stickers, shoes, etc. is one of the most popular hobbies. Collecting shoes is my hobby. Nowadays, the hobby has become more popular when people recognized that shoes are not only used to wear but also to express their personalities. I collect different types of shoes such as heels, athletic shoes, flats,… Each types of shoes has own functions in different circumstances.I am interested in collecting shoes although it is an expensive hobby.     There are countless things that I love in this world. But the thing I love most is reading book. I started this bobby when i was 8 years old. I often reading books whenever and wherever I can. I read news, story books and novels and especially have passion for discovery books. Reading is an incredibly inexpensive hobby that provides so many benefits. Book help me widen my knowledge of the world. When I am sad or disheartened, I often mix myself with book. I realize that the life has many meanful things than i thought and i need to try my best for my bright future. Book also bring me more motivation and joy of life. All of parents want to give their children a quality education. I think the best method is let them read book, regardless of any kind of books, as long as those book are wholesome books. I have no intention of of this useful hobby. In future, I want to read and more book.

    My hobby is playing sports. My favorite sport is soccer. Since I was a child, I watched football programs with my father on TV. Now that I get older, I can play soccer with my friends. I will play twice a week at a football field near my home, I usually play as a striker.

   Playing soccer helps me train my fitness and team spirit. My friends and I get closer after every football match. We buy the same sportswear together. We usually have small parties after each game.

   In short, sport offers us many different benefits. I like football and you guys should find yourself a favorite sport to practice.

    My name is Phuong, I am 15 years old this year. If my friends like to listen to music or watch movies, then my hobby is cooking. Most of my family’s meals are cooked by me. Every day, I buy ingredients after I get home from school and start going to the kitchen. During the meal I often cook many different dishes.

    I like to decorate my food beautifully. In addition to the dishes in my meal, I also like to make snacks such as cakes, candies, jam, … Whenever I do those things, I often share them with relatives and friends to enjoy. Everyone compliments me of my good cooking and I am very happy for that.

   Everyone has different tastes and I also have a hobby. My hobby is collecting souvenirs. I like small and lovely things.

    I usually keep them in a separate box. I call that box the memory box. I often appreciate birthday gifts. Or every time I go to the bookstore I will buy at least one small item to take home. Most of them are just for decoration. But I like them very much.

   My hobby is swimming. It is also my favorite sport since I was little. Swimming has four main strokes, which are crawl stroke, breaststroke, back crawl stroke, and butterfly stroke. My favorite swimming style is breast stroke.

   I go to the swimming pool three of four times a week. Because I want to achieve good results, I practice a lot. Swimming also bring lots of advantages for human’s health. It helps me keep fit. With swimming, I can burn 25% of my body’s fat. Besides that, with swimming, I can free from asthma. Swimming also keeps you safe in the water.     My favorite sport is basketball, which is require teamwork, speed and personal skill. There are two teams, each team has no more ten people. The player gets point by throwing the basketball through the opponent’s hoop or basket. The winner of the basketball game is the team with the most points. Basketball is a wonderful sport, it brings lots of benefits for me. Firstly, I can develop a remarkable height. Now, I am the tallest person in my class. Next, playing basketball encourages a sense of teamwork. You may have a chance to positively interact with people from different background.     My favourite sport is badminton. It's a wonderful and healthy team sport. Because each team can have 1 or 2 players. It depends on how you play so it can have 2 or 4 players. If you want to play, you'll need rackets and a shuttlecock with a badminton net. A team hit the shuttlecock and the other team blocked the demand curve, hit it again. When one team miss the shuttlecock, the other team have 1 point. Which team have 21 points first will win a round. If 20-20, they will play until one team more 2 points than the other team. If 29-29, which team reached 30 first will win that round. They choose badminton court by tossing the coin. Team win will choose badminton court and hit the shuttlecock first. They will change it when the round end. I very like this sport because is very fun and exciting. It makes me healthy, strong, and relax after stressful classes at the school. That's why I like this sport so much.

    Every coming Tet Holiday, I extremely eager, not only welcome a new year with more joy, happiness, luck but also it’s an occasion to pay New Year’s visits. That sounds interesting? Paying New Year’s visits is my special hobby, and I think that is hobby of a lot of people. On the first day of the new year, I and my younger brother always bring flowers, fruits and money envelops to grandma’s house to wish:” We wish grandma more joy, happiness, luck and good health, live up to 100 years in the new year”. After, we go to uncle’s house in my village about 10 minutes, then return to house. The second day, my family visits to neighborhood, going to this house and then to another house, we bit sunflower seeds and talk happily together. And the next days, my family visits distant relatives, this is an occasion for me to travel and explore the other ands. When I was a child, I received money envelops, but now I’m 24 years old, I have a job, and I give lucky money for children which make me feel happy, because I bring the joys to children. Tet holiday is an occasion which I expect the most to spend a lot of time to pay New Year’s visits, with my family together. No matter how old am I, I will keep my special hobby.

    What I love to do in my free time costs me a big amount of money, and it is shopping. Since I was a kid, my mother has been taking me to the markets and supermarkets with her, so I had many chances to pick up the goods that I liked. It has gradually become my hobby without me realizing, and now I love to spend my free time wandering in the malls and do the window shop. I love to observe and buy everything, not just clothes or some certain goods. My friends usually ask me to buy them something whenever they know that I will go to the mall, and it is the thing that I am happy to help. The beginning of the month is my favorite time, because it is when my family goes to the supermarket to buy necessary stuff for the whole month. I always volunteer in that activity with my mother, and we usually spend half of a day in there. I love the feeling of going along the aisles of countless brands of goods, choosing the best type of shampoo, or picking up the freshest fruits. Although later the bill will sometimes hurt my heart, I still think it is worthy. I am very aware of my financial status, and most of the time I just walking around and looking at the shops without buying anything. My dream is to be a very rich person, so that I can continue go shopping without worrying about my wallet.

    I have a great love for traveling. I think there will be many people with similar interests as me. I travel most of my free time. Especially in the summer, when I don’t need to go to school, I can go anywhere I want. I often travel with family members. Parents will plan trips for us. Every time I travel I often buy a lot of gifts for my friends. Traveling helps me feel comfortable and happy. Traveling to new lands helps me to have many different experiences.
