    I think everybody at least has one close friend in their life. And so do I. I have one close friend, Chi. We aren't in the same class at primary but we study in the same class in secondary school. Chi is a beautiful girl with big black eyes and an oval rosy face. She is one of the most intelligent students in my class who always at the second top. She likes reading love story so she's very imaginative. Sometimes, her hyperactivity begin that she's more talkative than usual. She's also sociable and has a good sense of humor. Her jokes always make us laugh. I and her are inseparable every day.     My best friend in high school is Lan. Lan sits next to me in class, eats with me at break time, and hangs out with me after school. She has beautiful and long hair; my mother always says that I need to pay more attention to my hair so it can be pretty as hers. I am good at English while Lan is excellent in Math, therefore we can help each other every time one of us has trouble in understanding those subjects.      My best friend is my classmate at school. She and I have been studying together since we entered school in kindergarten. We have studied together all these years. We also travel by the school bus together because we stay close to each other. Her home is only a ten minute walk from my place. My friend is kindly and sweet-natured.     I have a best friend, and his name is Minh. Minh has been my classmate since we were in elementary school, and it means that we have been friends for more than ten years. Minh lives near my house, so it can be said that he is also my neighbor. He is a chubby boy with curly black hair. He wears a pair of very thick classes since he is short eye sighted. He has been wearing them since he was a little boy, and it is hard to recognize him without his classes even for me. Minh is a good student at our school, but in return he is pretty bad at outdoor activities and sports. I am a tall and slim girl, and I love to play sports like basketball and badminton. I try my best to take him outside, but I usually fail to do so. We do our own homework, but after that we will exchange our notebooks to check each other's result. Every morning he stops by my house and waits for me to go to school together. We ride our own bikes, but recently his mother has an idea for him to work out that he has to take me to school on his bike as his morning exercise. Although he is not a prominent boy, most of the classmates still like him because of his kind and gentle personality.     The best friend I would like to talk about is Kevin who has been my best friend since we were 8. We studied at the same primary school and grew up together since.

    Our friendship started when we both had a Superman action figure. We talked about Superman and other superheroes for a long while after our classes. We went to different colleges from different countries but we always keep in touch. Now we both have a job in the same city and although we are very busy with work, we always spend time together when having a chance.

    Kevin is a driven and ambitious person who always work hard to strive for success. However, he’s also a down-to-Earth guy and a kind soul. When it comes to family and friends, he is always willing to help without asking anything in return. Whenever we meet up, we often exchange our thoughts about books and politics and other social topics.

   I enjoy spending time with Kevin because we share so many common interests. I never feel bored spending time with him. Since we are friends for a long time, we understand each other very well.     Everyone of us has at least one best friend to share happiness and sadness in our life. I am too. My best friend is Lan. Her house is next to mine. So we grew up together and became best friend.

   Lan also was my desk-mate at primary school. One day, I forgot to bring my umbrella. That afternoon, it rained cats and dogs. The way from my house to school is just about half of kilometer, but my parents was busy at company. Therefore, they could not pick up me. I stood on in front of school’ gate. I didn’t know what to do. Lan realised that i couldn’t home because of not having umbrella. She just have a raincoat and she wanted to share it with me. When we go to home, both of us were soaking wet. Because of that, she caught cold. That made me moving. That was our first memory, also date worth remembering with me.
