1. Look at the flags of some countries. Give the names of these countries. (Nhìn vào quốc kỳ cùa các quốc gia. Viết tên của các quốc gia sau.)

Do you know that there are many countries in the world where the traffic rule is to keep to the left? Some of these are the United Kingdom, Australia, India, Thailand, and Malaysia. There are different reasons for this. One is that some countries used the same system as the UK. Another is that many people are right-handed!

Reasons why this happened:

1. Some countries use the same system as the UK.

2. Many people are right-handed (in the past, this meant they could ride a horse using mainly their left hand, and could more easily use their right hand to carry a sword.)

3. Look at the strange driving laws below. Five of them are true, but one is false. In pairs, can you find the false driving law? (Nhìn vào những luật giao thông kì lạ dưới đây. Năm câu trong số chúng là đúng nhưng có một câu sai. Làm việc theo cặp, bạn có thê tìm ra câu sai không ?)

1. In Alaska, you are not allowed to drive with a dog on the roof.T

4. In Spain, people who wear glasses have to carry a spare pair in the car. T

5. In South Africa, you have to let animals go first. T

6. In France, you can only reverse your car on Sundays. F

4. Now, work in groups. Discuss the laws and put them in order from the strangest (No l) to the least strange (No 5). Are there strange rules in Viet Nam? (Bây giờ làm theo nhóm. Thảo luận các luật sau và sắp xếp chúng theo thứ tự từ lạ kỳ nhất (Số 1) đến ít lạ kỳ nhất (Số 5). Ở Việt Nam có luật nào kì lạ không?)
