Cấu trúc Not only… but also có nghĩa là: “Không những …. mà còn ….”. Cấu trúc này được sử dụng để nhấn mạnh về đặc tính, hành động của 1 sự vật, sự việc nào đó. Not only… but also dùng để nối đồng thời nhấn mạnh 2 từ hay cụm từ có cùng vị trí, tính chất.
