Nội dung bài nghe:

I live in a mountainous village. My parents often tell me stories about their life in the past. It’s not much like the village I can see nowadays. Some villagers now live in brick houses instead of earthen ones. Our houses are better equipped with electric fans and TVs. Thanks to the TV, we now know more about life outside our village. We don’t use oil lamps any more. We have electric lights which are much brighter. More villagers are using motorcycles for transport instead of riding a horse or walking. We — village children — no longer have to walk a long way and cross a stream to get to school, which is dangerous in the rainy season. Now there’s a new school nearby. We also have more visitors from the city. They come to experience our way of life.

Tôi sống ở một ngôi làng miền núi. Cha mẹ tôi thường kể cho tôi những câu chuyện về cuộc sống trong quá khứ. Nó không giống như ngôi làng mà tôi có thể nhìn thấy ngày nay. Chúng tôi - trẻ em làng - không còn phải đi một chặng đường dài và băng qua suối để đến trường, điều này rất nguy hiểm vào mùa mưa. Bây giờ có một ngôi trường mới gần đó. Chúng tôi cũng có nhiều du khách hơn từ thành phố. Họ đến để trải nghiệm lối sống của chúng tôi.

Lời giải:

- It's good for the villagers to have TVs. Now, they can have more fun and know more about people around the world

- I think electric light plays a very important part in the life of the villagers. It helps people see everything clearly at night so they can do more work.

- A nearby school is very helpful to people here because they don't have go to a long way to school, cross a stream to get to school, which very dangerous in rainy seasons. It will help develop the village.

- I believe that more people will go to the village to experience life here, which is a good thing for the villagers because they can develop tourism, have more work and more money.

A: Rural areas in our country are changing so much, aren't they?

B: Yes, they are. I think the first change is nearly each household have modem appliances like a fridge, a washing machine or a TV.

A: Exactly. Another change is you can hardly see dirt roads in the country. Modern roads have replaced them. There are even cemented roads across the rice fields.

B: I think one more change is that people in rural areas have been richer than before. They use motorbikes, even cars instead of bicycles.

There is a lot of changes in my villages now. Firstly, we have more electric morden appliances such as: refrigerator, TV, washing machine,... in almost house in my village. Secondly, there are more and more motorbike, most of people in my village use motorbike, or even use car. I feel excited to this change because my village is more modern. But I feel also dissapointed now, there is noisier and more pollute than in the past

My villages has changed a lot for 5 years. Firstly, there has more school, hospital, and supermarket in my villages. People in my village can has more opportunity to education, health care and intertainment. But the field is less and more narrow. So many trees are cut down to have construction land. Now we have Internet connection now, so everyone can surf web, play game online whenever they want. I think it is one of the reason that they are addicted Internet and stay away from others.
